- To set the relation "a is not an element of set X" first click on the "math commands window" here.
- Once the cursor appears, type in the first variable. In this case it is the letter "a."
- Next, press space and then type in the word "notin." This should display the symbol that means "is not an element of."
- Afterwards, press space again and type in the next variable. In this example, it is the set "X."
- Great! We have set the relation "a is not an element of set X." Congratulations!
