How-To: Set the relation "a less than or equal to b" - OpenOffice.org Math
  1. To set the relation "a less than or equal to b" first click on the "math commands window" here.
  2. Once the cursor appears, type in the first variable. In this case it is the letter "a."
  3. Next, press space and type in the "less than" (<) symbol.
  4. Do this by pressing and holding the shift key and then pressing the "less than" key on the keyboard. Release the keys afterwards.
  5. Then, WITHOUT any spaces, type in the "equal" sign (=) using its key on the keyboard.
  6. Afterwards, press space and type in the next variable. In this example it is the letter "b."
  7. Great! We have entered the relation "a is less than or equal to "b." Congratulations!
