How-To: Enter an expression within operator brackets - OpenOffice.org Math
- To set an operator bracket. First click on the "math commands window" here.
- When the cursor appears, you can star writing the expression with an operator bracket. First we need to insert a "left angle bracket."
- Do this by typing in the word "langle."
- Next, press space and type in the first variable that you want. In this case we are typing in the letter "A."
- Now, to insert the "vertical line" symbol that means "divides," press space and type in the word "mline."
- Afterwards, type in the next variable. In this case it is the letter "B."
- Finally, press space and insert the "right angle bracket" symbol by typing in the word "rangle."
- Great! After a few moments, you should see our expression with operator brackets. Congratulations!
