How-To: Enter the expression for the coproduct of a sequence - OpenOffice.org Math
- To enter a coproduct of a sequence of terms, first type in the word "coprod" in the "math commands window" here. This should display the coproduct symbol.
- Afterwards, press space and then type in the expression that you want for the coproduct. In this case we are going to enter a sequence.
- We shall use the variable "x" to represent the sequence, and "n" to represent a number from that sequence.
- Type in "x sub n" enclosed in "braces" or "curly brackets" like this. The word "sub" between the variables should display "n" as a subscript.
- Great! We have entered the expression for the coproduct of "X sub n." Congratulations!
