How-To: Export a formula as a portable document file (.pdf) - OpenOffice.org Math
- To export a formula as a portable document file or "pdf." first click here on the option "File."
- Then, on the menu that drops down, click on the option "Export..."
- The "export" window should then appear. If you want to change the file name for your pdf, click here and type in the name you want.
- Next, click on the down arrow for the file format field here to view the list of file formats that you can export to.
- In most cases, the "Portable Document Format" option is the only one available. Click on it once. Then, click on the "Save" button.
- Afterwards, the "PDF" options window should appear. Here you can change the options for the PDF format like compression, quality etc.
- Just adjust the options that you need changed.
- Once done, click here on "Export."
- Good! Now let's check our new PDF file.
- Great! As you can see the formula has been succesfully exported into the "pdf" format.
- Also note that the markup language for the formula has been included below the document.
