Modify a style's line spacing - OpenOffice.org

How-To: Modify a style's line spacing - OpenOffice.org
  1. To modify the line spacing of a particular style, first remember to open the "Styles and Formatting" window. You can do this quickly by pressing "F11" on the keyboard.
  2. Now to start, look for the style you want to modify. In this example we are modfying the style "Text Body." Choose its category and then right click over it when it appears on the style list.
  3. A menu should then appear. Click on the option "Modify..."
  4. The window for editing styles should open. Now, look for the "Indents & Spacing" tab and click on it once.
  5. Afterwards, look for the line spacing options here. Click on this down arrow to view the list of line spacing options.
  6. Just look for the line spacing option that you want and click on it once. In this example we have chosen the "Double" spacing option.
  7. Afterwards, click on "OK."
  8. Great! Notice that the text with the style we modified has changed to match the line spacing we set. Congratulations!
