How-To: Modify a style's font and font size - OpenOffice.org
- This screencast demonstrates how to modify the font color of an existing style.
- In this example, we are going to modify the style that has been assigned to this heading here. To identify what style it has, we are clicking on it once.
- Good. Since this was highlighted, it means that the heading's assigned style is "Heading 2." Now, right click on it once to view a context menu.
- Then, on the menu that opens, click on the option "Modify..."
- The window for the style options should open.
- Now, look for the tab "Font Effects" and click on it once.
- Next, look for the "Font color" options and click on its down arrow here.
- Then, on the list that drops down, click on the font color that you want to use for the style.
- Once you're done, click on "OK."
- Great! Notice that the header with the style we modified has changed to match what we've done.
- Also if we take a look at the other headings with the style "Heading 2" you should see that they have changed as well.
- Congratulations! You have learned how to modfiy a style's font color.
