How-To: Add or Modify a paragraph style's shadow - OpenOffice.org
- To modify a paragraph style and add shadows, remember that you need to have the "Styles and Formatting" window open. You can do this quickly by pressing "F11" on the keyboard.
- Now, look for the paragraph style you want to modify and right click over it.
- Once the context menu opens, click on the option "Modify."
- The options window for the paragraph style should open.
- Now, look for the "Borders" tab here and click on it.
- Next, look for the "Shadow Style" options here. Just click on the style you want.
- Once the shadow is set, you can also adjust the shadow distance if you want by clicking on the up and down arrows here.
- You can also choose the shadow's color by clicking on this down arrow and clicking on the color you want.
- Take note that if you want to isolate the shadow for each one of the paragraphs, the option "Merge with next paragraph" must be unchecked.
- Once you're done, click on "OK."
- Great! Notice that all the paragraphs with the style "Text Body" all have shadows for each of them. Congratulations!
