Add or Modify a paragraph style's shadow - OpenOffice.org

How-To: Add or Modify a paragraph style's shadow - OpenOffice.org
  1. To modify a paragraph style and add shadows, remember that you need to have the "Styles and Formatting" window open. You can do this quickly by pressing "F11" on the keyboard.
  2. Now, look for the paragraph style you want to modify and right click over it.
  3. Once the context menu opens, click on the option "Modify."
  4. The options window for the paragraph style should open.
  5. Now, look for the "Borders" tab here and click on it.
  6. Next, look for the "Shadow Style" options here. Just click on the style you want.
  7. Once the shadow is set, you can also adjust the shadow distance if you want by clicking on the up and down arrows here.
  8. You can also choose the shadow's color by clicking on this down arrow and clicking on the color you want.
  9. Take note that if you want to isolate the shadow for each one of the paragraphs, the option "Merge with next paragraph" must be unchecked.
  10. Once you're done, click on "OK."
  11. Great! Notice that all the paragraphs with the style "Text Body" all have shadows for each of them. Congratulations!
