How-To: Modify a paragraph style's alignment - OpenOffice.org
  1. To modify a paragraph style's alignment, you must first have the "Styles and Formatting" window open. You can do this quickly by pressing "F11" on the keyboard.
  2. Now to start, look for the paragraph style you want to modify and right click over it.
  3. Once the context menu opens, click on the option "Modify..."
  4. Once the options window opens, click on the "Alignment" tab here.
  5. In the alignment options, click on the alignment you want to use. For this example we are clicking on the option "Center."
  6. Afterwards, just click on "OK."
  7. Great! Notice that the text with the paragraph style we modfied has changed. Congratulations!
