- To create a new document from a template using the quickstarter, first right click over the quickstarter icon here on the system tray.
- Then, once the menu opens, click on the option "From Template..."
- The templates and documents window should open. In the templates section look for the template you want to use for the new document and click on it once.
- Afterwards, click on "Open."
- The appropriate OpenOffice application should automatically open along with the document template that you selected.
