How-To: Export document as a PDF file with notes - OpenOffice.org
  1. To export a document as a PDF file along with its notes, first click on the "file" option here.
  2. Once the menu drops down, click on the option "Export as PDF..."
  3. The PDF options window should open.
  4. Now, under the "general" tab, look for the checkbox marked "Export notes" and click on it once.
  5. Afterwards, click on "Export."
  6. Next, the "Export" window should open. Navigate to the location you want for the file here, and then type in the file name you want on the file name field below.
  7. Once done, click on "Save."
  8. Good! We have exported the document as a PDF file with notes. Now, let's check how it looks like by opening the file.
  9. Great! As you can see the document has been exported to PDF nicely.
  10. You should see the notes as well by moving your mouse over these "note" icons here.
  11. Alternatively, you can click on the icon the view the note.
  12. Once you're done viewing the note, you can click on the close button here marked by an "X"
