How-To: Export document as a PDF file with notes - OpenOffice.org
- To export a document as a PDF file along with its notes, first click on the "file" option here.
- Once the menu drops down, click on the option "Export as PDF..."
- The PDF options window should open.
- Now, under the "general" tab, look for the checkbox marked "Export notes" and click on it once.
- Afterwards, click on "Export."
- Next, the "Export" window should open. Navigate to the location you want for the file here, and then type in the file name you want on the file name field below.
- Once done, click on "Save."
- Good! We have exported the document as a PDF file with notes. Now, let's check how it looks like by opening the file.
- Great! As you can see the document has been exported to PDF nicely.
- You should see the notes as well by moving your mouse over these "note" icons here.
- Alternatively, you can click on the icon the view the note.
- Once you're done viewing the note, you can click on the close button here marked by an "X"
