How-To: Save a presentation as a new file - OpenOffice.org Impress
  1. To save a presentation as a new file, first click here on the option "File."
  2. Then, on the menu that opens, click on the option "Save As..."
  3. The "Save As" window should open.
  4. Now, click on the filename field here, and type in a new filename for the presentation.
  5. Good! Please remember that the default file format of Impress presentations is the OpenDocument Presentation format (.odp) which you can see here.
  6. Afterwards, just click on the option "Save."
  7. Great! We have saved the presentation as a new file. Congratulations.
