How-To: Move the header or title of the master slide - OpenOffice.org Impress
  1. To move the header of the master slide, first remember to go to the slide master view so that you can edit master slide elements.
  2. Now, look for the header or title, and click and hold the left mouse button over it to select it.
  3. Next, while holding the button, move the mouse towards the area where you want to place the header.
  4. A ghost of the header's area should guide you in placing it. Release the mouse button once you are at the location you want.
  5. Great! We have moved the header to this area.
  6. When you are done, just click on the "Close Master View" button here.
  7. Great! If you check carefully, all the slide headers/titles should have changed their positions to match the setting we made.
  8. Congratulations! You have learned how to move the header of the master slide.
