How-To: Insert an author field - OpenOffice.org Impress
  1. To insert an author field in the text of a slide, first double click on the text block where you want put the field.
  2. Once the text block is selected, make sure that the typing cursor is at the position where you want the field to appear.
  3. Once you're done click here on "Insert."
  4. Then, on the menu that opens, move your mouse over the option "Fields"
  5. A side menu should appear. Look for the "Author" option and click on it once.
  6. Great! The author field has been inserted here. Congratulations!
