How-To: Insert an author field - OpenOffice.org Impress
- To insert an author field in the text of a slide, first double click on the text block where you want put the field.
- Once the text block is selected, make sure that the typing cursor is at the position where you want the field to appear.
- Once you're done click here on "Insert."
- Then, on the menu that opens, move your mouse over the option "Fields"
- A side menu should appear. Look for the "Author" option and click on it once.
- Great! The author field has been inserted here. Congratulations!
