How-To: Add an indent to an outline item - OpenOffice.org Impress
  1. To indent an item in an outline, first click on the text block where the outline is located.
  2. Now, select the item you want to indent by clicking once on its bullet point.
  3. Once selected, press the "Tab" key on the keyboard to indent this item.
  4. Great! This item has been has now been indented. Just repeat the process for other items in the outline if it is needed.
  5. Take note that the bullet points have changed when the items were indented. Congratulations! You have learned how to indent items in an outline.
