How-To: Add shadows to slide text using the toolbar - OpenOffice.org Impress
- To format slide text so that it has a shadow, first you must select it. Do this by double clicking on the text block where the text you want to format is.
- Afterwards, click and hold the left mouse button on one side of the text.
- Next, while still holding the button, move your mouse across the text you want to format.
- Once the text is highlighted, release the mouse button.
- Now, move your mouse to the toolbar and look for the "Shadow" button. It should have an "A" icon with a shadow. Just click on this once.
- Great! As you can see, shadows have appeared with the text we selected. Congratulations!
