How-To: Format the slide text color using the toolbar- OpenOffice.org Impress
  1. To change the color of text using the toolbar, first double click on the text block where the text you want to format is located.
  2. Next, we must select the text. Click and hold the left mouse button on one side of the text and then move your mouse across it.
  3. Once you have selected the text, release the mouse button.
  4. Now, look for font color button here on the toolbar. It should look like this. Click on the down arrow beside it to view a palette of colors to choose from.
  5. Good. Now, click on the color you want to use for the text.
  6. Afterwards, click on the close button here to close the font color window.
  7. Great! As you can see this text has changed its color. Congratulations!
