How-To: Format the slide text color- OpenOffice.org Impress
- To change the color of text in slides, you must first double click on the text block where the text you want to format is located.
- Next, select the text by clicking and holding the left mouse button on one side of it. Afterwards, move your mouse across the text.
- Once you're done selecting text, release the mouse button and then click here on "Format."
- One the menu opens, click on the option "Character..."
- The character window should appear. Now, if it is not open yet, click here on the font effects tab.
- Next, look for the font color options here. Click on this down arrow to view a list of colors.
- Once the list opens, look for the color you want for the text and click on it once.
- Once you're done, click on "OK."
- Great! We have changed the font color of this text. Congratulations!
