- This screencast demonstrates how to disable the "snap to guides" option.
- First notice that when we drag this object near the guide line...
- ...it will always automatically align itself with the guide line.
- To disable this option, first click here on "View."
- Afterwards, on the menu that opens, move your mouse over the option "Guides."
- A side menu should appear. Now, look for the "Snap to Guides" option. Notice that it has a check beside it. To disable this, uncheck it by clicking on it once.
- Great! The snap to guide lines option has been disabled. Now, if we drag an object near a guide line.
- ...you should notice that the object DOESN'T align itself with the guide line anymore, even though it is very near to it.
- Congratulations! You have learned how to disable the "snap to guides" option.
