How-To: Disable the snap to grid option - OpenOffice.org Impress
- To disable the "Snap to Grid" option, first click here on "View."
- Then, on the menu that opens, move your mouse over the option "grid."
- A side menu should appear. Now, look for the "Snap to Grid" option. Notice that it has a check beside it. To disable this option, uncheck it by clicking on it once.
- Great! The "snap to grid" option has been disabled.
- Notice, that when you drag objects...
- ...you will see that it doesn't align or "snap" itself to the grid points anymore, once it is released.
