How-To: Create a title slide - OpenOffice.org Impress
  1. This screencast demonstrates how to create a title slide. First, take note that an empty presentation has been created.
  2. To create a title slide, first move your mouse to the "Layouts" section here in the tasks area. Then, look for the "Title Slide" layout here, and click on it once.
  3. Good. The pre-set title slide layout has been placed.
  4. Now, click here on this text block and type in the title you want.
  5. Then, if you want to add extra text for the title, like a small description, click on this text block below and type in the text.
  6. Congratulations! We now have a title slide.
