How-To: Add text outlines to a slide - OpenOffice.org Impress
- This screencast demostrates how to add a text outline to a slide.
- First, please remember that you can layout slides quickly by using the layout section of the task pane here. In this example we are using the "title and text" layout.
- The title and text layout should produce a text block like this. As you can see there is a guide that says "Click to add an outline." So just click on it once to start making an outline.
- After clicking, you should see the typing cursor appear. Just type in the first point or statement of the outline.
- After typing in the first point, press the Enter key and type in the next point you want.
- Notice that bullet points automatically appear for every new outline item. Just keep typing text and pressing the enter key until all the points you need are on display.
- Great! We now have an outline. Congratulations!
