Typeface
A "typeface" is the face of the characters in the alphabet,
as defined by the features of its design.
Most commonly used within the Latin language group of graphic shapes are Serif and Sans Serif typefaces.
Typefaces may group families with variants in

.
In computers, typefaces are packaged as
fonts
.
