Style Category

Open Office styles have categories. These categories classify the different styles in terms of the particular element of a document they apply to.

There are a total categories. These are:

• Cell styles - Styles that apply to spreadsheet cells (only used in Calc)
• Character styles - Styles that apply to individual characters and fonts
• Frame styles - Styles that apply to objects, images and frames
• Graphic styles - Styles that apply to graphics (used in Draw and Impress)
• List styles - Styles that apply to bulleted and numbered lists
• Page styles - Styles that apply to whole pages
• Paragraph styles - Styles that apply to individual paragraphs
• Presentation styles - Styles that apply to presentations (only used in Impress)
