Slide Pane

The Slide Pane is a part of the OpenOffice.org workspace. It is usually located at the left side of the and contains small icons representing the that are currently present in the presentation.

The slides pane is primarily used to add, rename, delete, and to arrange in Impress. This is all done by manipulating the icons present by dragging them via the mouse and/or accessing context menus. Also it provides quick navigation to different slides with just a click.

The slides pane may have a lot of features similar to the slide sorter view. Yet, the difference is that in the slide sorter view, you can't readily edit or layout individual slides. In the normal view with the slides pane present, you can still see and edit an individual slide while still having quick access to the features provided by the slide sorter.

The slide pane is different from the at the other end of the workspace.
