Presentation Style
The presentation style refers to the way a presentation
appears on screen.
This includes slide formatting elements, such as the indentations and spacing, text alignment,
tab stops, bullets and numbering types,
the font
style and size of text, boldness, italicization, underlines and other effects.
Presentations styles are used for OpenOffice.org Impress. Modifying a presentation style basically edits one element of a presentation. Editing the presentation style "Notes" for example only changes the formatting of the notes in the presentation. When an outline is modified, like "Outline 2" the second level of the outline is formatted to the style specified by the user. No other level is changed.
You cannot apply or create a presentation style like any other style categorie
,
since most of these styles apply to a particular element in the presentation. Usually any changes you made are automatically
applied in the Impress auto-layout feature. When you assign a layout to the slide, all the properties
set for each element will follow the format that has been determined by the style.
This style can only be edited within OpenOffice.org Impress.
Presentation Styles are also related to other style categories
such as the graphic style.
