Font Work

Font Work is basically the OpenOffice.org equivalent of Microsoft Office's Word Art. It is basically modified text that can have more than the usual formatting styles and effects in it. Most notably, font works can have shadows, outlines, color fillers, gradients and other effects usually found in images. It can also be aligned or arranged more atypically as you can skew, bend and morph the text alignments to creative angles.

Font works are basically "graphical text" that are used for emphasis like titles, or for complimentary text decorations for your drawing or presentation. You can use fontwork in OpenOffice.org Writer, Calc, Draw and Impress.
