How-To: Select multiple objects using the mouse - OpenOffice.org Draw
  1. To select multiple objects using the mouse, first move your mouse near the objects you want selected.
  2. Next, click and hold the left mouse button and then move the mouse cursor towards the objects.
  3. Notice that a box appears. This is the selection box, this should guide you in selecting the objects. Any object within the box will be selected once the mouse button is released.
  4. Now, just continue moving your mouse until all the objects that you want selected are within the selection box.
  5. When you're finished, release the mouse button.
  6. Great! We have selected these objects. Congratulations!
