How-To: Save a drawing as an OpenOffice.org 1.0 drawing - OpenOffice.org Draw
- To save a drawing in the OpenOffice.org 1.0 file format or an ".sxd" file, first click here on "File."
- Then, on the menu that drops down, click on the option "Save As..."
- The "Save As" window should appear.
- Now, if you want to set a different file name, just click on this field and type in the name you want.
- Next, look for the "Save as type" field and click on its down arrow here.
- A list of file types should drop down. Look for the option "OpenOffice.org 1.0 Drawing (.sxd)" and click on it once.
- Afterwards. click on the "save" button here.
- A warning may appear telling you that some of the formatting and content may not be supported by the format we are about to use.
- To save our file in the OpenOffice.org 1.0 format however, we have to click on "Yes."
- Great! We have saved the drawing in the OpenOffice.org 1.0 format. Congratulations!
