How-To: Draw Smiley Face - OpenOffice.org Draw
- Draw has a feature to let you create special symbols like Smiley Faces easily.
- You can find it here at the "Symbol Shapes Button."
- Just click on this "down arrow" to look at the Symbol Shapes toolbar.
- Here you can find several symbols to choose from.
- As an example we are choosing the Smiley Face.
- Just click on it once.
- Now, move to the drawing area and pick the spot where you want to put a corner of your symbol. In this case one corner of the Smiley Face.
- Once you have picked a spot just click and hold the left mouse button.
- While holding the mouse button, move the mouse to start drawing you Smiley Face.
- A ghost of the Smiley Face appears to guide you as you draw.
- Once you are comfortable with the size, just release the mouse button.
- We now have a Smiley Face! To re-adjust its size just click and hold the left mouse button on these adjustment boxes while moving the mouse.
- Just click on a blank space to look at the symbol without the adjustment boxes.
- Great! You now know how to draw symbols!
