How-To: Save a spreadsheet using toolbar - OpenOffice.org Calc
  1. A star appears here on the status bar when a spreadsheet needs saving.
  2. To save a spreadsheet quickly you can use the toolbar. Just move your mouse over this "Diskette" icon.
  3. This is the "Save Button" just click on it once to save the document.
  4. Great! Notice that the indicator has disappeared telling us that the document has been saved.
  5. Congratulations! You have learned to save a document using the toolbar.
