  1. To open a new spreadsheet from a template, first click here on the down arrow beside the "New Document" button.
  2. Then, on the menu that opens, click on "Templates and Documents."
  3. The templates and documents window should appear.
  4. Now, click on the templates icon here to view the list of available templates.
  5. Next, look for the template you want to use in this list here and click on its name once.
  6. Afterwards, click on "Open."
  7. Great! You have opened a new spreadsheet from a template.
